Salary: £31,331 - £44,607 pa - Grade 7/8
The School of Computing and Mathematics, which is part of the Faculty of Science and Technology, wishes to appoint two Lecturers in Pure Mathematics. The School has responsibility for delivering courses in the mathematical sciences across a wide range of disciplines as well as on its own degree programmes. You will
be expected to contribute to the delivery of the School's range of teaching in mathematics, to undertake research and to participate in outreach and other activities.
You may have research interests in any area of pure mathematics which will enhance our existing research strengths.

You will be expected to hold a PhD in mathematics and to have evidence of carrying out high quality research. You will also be expected to play a full part in the range of other activities undertaken by this group of staff. Some teaching experience is essential and an interest in developing novel course delivery and assessment methods is desirable.
